An outdated brand in need of a revamp
Loto Oil is a growing player in the oil and gas industry, serving customers with reliable energy solutions. To strengthen its brand presence and stand out in a competitive market, the company sought a refreshed identity—one that would reflect its ambitions and establish a stronger connection with its audience.
With competitors like MRS, Mobil, Oando, and Total, Loto Oil needed a modern, professional brand experience that would enhance its credibility and market positioning.
What wasn’t working?
Before redesigning, I identified key areas that needed improvement.
A brand identity that lacked impact
Loto Oil didn’t have a modern, recognizable logo, and its visual identity lacked consistency, making it harder to establish a strong presence in the industry.
A website that didn’t deliver
To address the overwhelming number of form fields, we broke down the sign-up process into smaller, more digestible steps so as to reduced cognitive load and helped users stay engaged.
The Goal
Create a strong, modern brand identity that enhances recognition and credibility.
Redesign the website to be visually appealing, intuitive, and aligned with the new brand.
These insights showed that this wasn’t just a personal pain point. Others were also patching the problem with their own workarounds.
Research & Strategy
Phase 1: The Rebrand – Giving Loto Oil a new identity
The previous logo lacked personality, so I designed a modern, strong logo that represented the company’s values.
Phase 2: Website Redesign – Bringing Loto Oil’s digital presence up to speed
With the rebrand complete, it was time to translate the new identity into a website that felt modern, professional, and truly representative of Loto Oil’s ambition. More than just a facelift, this redesign aimed to give the company a competitive edge and improve how customers interacted with the brand online.
Wireframing
I started with wireframes to rethink how users navigated the site, ensuring they could easily understand Loto Oil’s services and reach out without confusion.
I also did some testing, reviewed and adjusted the structure to align with the company’s goals before moving into the final design.
High fidelity design
The redesign focuses on making Loto Oil look more credible and professional. The homepage immediately establishes trust with a bold hero section, while the layout simplifies how visitors find key information about the company’s services. A refined visual style and structured content make the site easier to navigate, reinforcing Loto Oil’s position in the industry.
Testing & Refinements
After completing the design, I conducted usability testing to gather feedback and identify any areas for improvement. I refined the design to ensure everything felt cohesive and aligned with the new brand direction. Subtle adjustments helped bring the final look together, making the experience more polished and seamless.
